Need a list?

Heres my top 10 things to have in your birth bag!

Sound Machine - Hatch Baby Rest / Mini or travel sound machine
A few reasons why this is on my list.
One: blocks out sound from another room with white noise, calming sounds etc.
Two: you can use this for your new baby to help them sleep (can’t go anywhere without mine, we have three, two of the older versions without the clock, and the mini, which is perfect for traveling!)

Magnesium lotion
Most of pregnant American’s are magnesium deficient this leads to restless legs syndrome, the inability to sleep well at night and just being in some real discomfort. Beside epson salt baths like this one here, get yourself some magnesium lotion to bring to the birth and have your partner rub your feet and legs with it. Can decrease blood pressure, give you some much needed rest, and you get a massage. Lots of benefits here. You wont regret doing this in labor. Go ahead a grab a bag of epson salts for your bath postpartum healing.

Nursing Bra
While I am all about letting the girls be free and doing all the skin to skin, having this nursing bra to labor in and/or go home in adds the support you need, easy to access and un button for that skin to skin and easy to take off if you end up delivery in the birth

Cute PJs for Postpartum
